Romantic Odia Movie ‘Mana Mora Kagaja Gudi’ To Hit Screens During Durga Puja

Bhubaneswar: Almost a year after its mahurat shot, Odia film ‘Mana Mora Kagaja Gudi’ is set to hit the theatres during Durga Puja.

Dubbed as a romantic movie with punches of dramatic scenes, the movie has Rakesh Deo and Bhoomika Das in lead roles.

The first venture of Sumitra Entertainments, ‘Mana Mora…’ is also the first directorial effort of Debjyoti Patra. Aishwariya Behera, Preetiraj Satapathy, Mamata Das, Biren Mishra, Guddu and Gyana are the other stars of the movie.

The film’s mahurat shot was taken in December last year. But the shooting could not progress due to second wave of COVID pandemic. However, its production team is hopeful of the release during Durga Puja.

Sibira Kumar Parida and Laxmi Priya Parida are the producers of the movie. While Japani has rendered the music, Basantraj Samal has penned the lyrics.

The film is based on Dibyasingh Ray’s story with the dialogues written by Manas Padhiary. Somio is the cinematographer.
