Ropeway In Five Tourist Places In Odisha Soon: Minister

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government will set up ropeways in five tourist spots to boost tourism.

Tourism Minister Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi told this to the media on Tuesday.

The minister said the ropeways will be set up at Kapilash (Dhenkanal), Nrusinghanath-Harishankar (near the border area of Bargarh and Balangir), Dhauligiri (Khurda), Bhimkund (Keonjhar) and Panchalingeswar (Balasore).

Panigrahi said the government has prepared an action plan for the proposed projects and the construction of these ropeways will be completed in 14-16 months.

He further informed that the construction of a ropeway between Puri and Konark is under consideration.
