Rourkela Municipal Corporation Launches 3 Competitions For Swachh Survekshan 2021

Rourkela: The Rourkela Municipal Corporation (RMC) has launched three online competitions for its citizens to mark Swachh Survekhsan 2021.

The RMC aims to educate every section of the society about Swachhata and COVID-19 through this competition. Rourkela had done well in the nationwide competition last year, but is aiming to perform better at the national level this time.

Following are the competitions and their details:

Hero of Rourkela — Individuals or organizations working for Swachhata or to prevent COVID-19 virus can participate in this competition. People associated with startups, entreprenuers, religious organizations, voluntary organizations etc can send their nominations to email ID swachhrourkela.rmc@gmail.com or to RMC’s WhatsApp number 7846806035 with a few lines and by attaching maximum 5 Photographs of the work they have done or are doing towards Swachhata and preventing COVID-19. Last date for the application is November 15, 2020.

Jingles and short films – Those who wish to participate in this competition have to prepare a jingle or short film of maximum 60-second duration about awareness on Swachhata or prevention of COVID-19 disease. There is no age bar for this competition. Entries go be sent to email ID swachhrourkela.rmc@gmail.com or to WhatsApp number 7846806035. Last date for the application is November 15, 2020.

School and college students — Students of any class of any school or college can prepare a poster or make an artwork related to cleanliness or COVID-19. They have to click the picture of their work and send it to swachhrourkela.rmc@gmail.com or WhatsApp number 7846806035. It must be sent by November 15, 2020. Last date for the application is November 15, 2020.
