Rourkela: Captain Tarun Srivastava, one of the pilots injured in the Rourkela aircraft crash on January 10, was discharged from the hospital on Friday after treatment.
The crash that took place at Jalda on January 10 had left six people, including two pilots, seriously injured.
Srivastava had been receiving treatment for injuries sustained during the
accident. Medical officials confirmed that his condition improved steadily, allowing doctors to discharge him following a full evaluation.
The aircraft crash resulted in grievous injuries to six individuals, including two pilots and four passengers. Earlier, pilot captain Naveen Kadanga and two passengers were recovered and returned home. One passenger succumbed to injuries sustained in the tragic incident.
At present, one injured passenger, identified as Anita Sahu, remains hospitalised. Hospital authorities said her condition is now stable.
The pilots of the 9-seater IndiaOne Air have been lauded by many for saving lives because of their quick decision-making. Their determined efforts helped land the aircraft despite a technical glitch mid-air.
