Rourkela: The COVID-19 tally rose to 3258 in Sundargarh district on Monday with 136 new positive cases reported in the last 24 hours. Of the new cases, 51 were reported from Rourkela.
Moreover, the district reported one more COVID-19 death on Monday. The deceased was identified as a professor in the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department of NIT, Rourkela. He was also suffering from uncontrolled diabetes, hypertension, and chronic kidney disease.
Details Of New Cases:
As of Monday, Sundargarh district has reported 22 COVID-19 deaths and 1,979 recoveries. It has 1,253 active cases at present.
