Rourkela: The COVID-19 tally in Rourkela is mounting daily with the Steel City accounting for 67 of the 74 overnight positive cases reported in Sundargarh district on Thursday.
Of the new cases in Rourkela, one is a COVID warrior and the other is from the CISF barrack.
Apart from Rourkela, Sundargarh Sadar block reported six new cases and one was detected in Rajgangpur municipality in the district.
Sundargarh district’s overall caseload on Thursday stood at 1295, including 778 recoveries, 510 active cases and 7 deaths.
