Rourkela: The Steel City alone has reported 55 of the 64 new COVID-19 cases in Odisha’s Sundargarh district, which has pushed the tally to 5,007 on Tuesday.
Among the new cases, one is from NIT Campus.
The rest of the cases are from different areas of the district.

Meanwhile, Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy and ACS Health and Family Welfare PK Mohapatra visited Rourkela to review COVID management in the district on Tuesday.
They also attended the review meeting at Hi-Tech COVID Hospital Rourkela along with CDMO, ADM Rourkela, Commissioner RMC, and hospital management.
With 38 deaths and 4,160 recoveries, Sundargarh now has 805 active cases.
