Chennai: More details about Royal Enfield’s upcoming motorcycle – Meteor – have been leaked.
The engine was revealed to be a 350cc petrol motor generating 20.2 BHP power and 27 Nm torque. Now, new images suggest that the Meteor will have a 15-litre tank, 41 mm telescopic front suspension with 130 mm travel and a 6-step adjustable twin spring rear suspension along with disc brakes all-round. The front disc will be a 300 mm disc and the rear will be a 270 mm disc with dual-channel ABS.
Besides, it will have 19-inch with 100/90 tyre and 17-inch alloys with 140/70 rubber at the front and rear respectively.
It will come in 3 variants – Fireball, Stellar and Supernova.
Tech-wise, the Meteor will get Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation feature and USB mobile charger along with the digital twin-pod display.
It is expected to be priced between Rs 1.6 and 1.9 lakh ex-showroom.
