Sonepur: Armed miscreants allegedly snatched a bank, containing Rs 21 lakh, from a contractual bank staff at gunpoint near Baghalpur chhak in Odisha’s Sonepur district on Wednesday.
According to sources, the incident took place while the bank staffer was on his way to deposit the amount in a nearby ATM.
The looters fled the spot leaving the motorcycle behind.
Police have begun a probe.
