Rs 5 lakh looted from senior citizen at Umerkote

Nabarangpur: Two unidentified miscreants on Monday looted Rs 5 lakh from an elderly man at Umerkote in Nabarangpur district.
Mukund Rana, a retired medical officer, was on his way home after withdrawing the money from a branch of State Bank of India when two miscreants came on a motorcycle and snatched the money bag from him, police sources said.
A case has been registered at Umerkote police station and a manhunt launched to nab the assailants, a police officer informed.
