Cuttack: The expenditure for the One-Dayer at Barabati Stadium on December 22 here has been estimated at Rs 6 crore, Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) Secretary Sanjay Behera told mediapersons here on Sunday.
Also, Rs 22 crore has been prepared as insurance for the much-awaited India-West Indies one day international match, he further said..
Though the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had released Rs 10 crore funds that were pending for past year, the OCA was yet to receive any special grant for FANI, he said.
The OCA secretary said that there is a provision for extra budget for repairing the damage incurred in the cyclonic storm.
Meanwhile, repair and renovation work is underway at the Barabati Stadium here on a war footing.
Behera had earlier said that the repair work was being carried out with the advance money released by the BCCI. “We expect the floodlights to be repaired by November 28,” he had said.
The floodlights along with galleries at the stadium were damaged in the strong wind and heavy rain triggered by Cyclone FANI in May this year.
The online tickets for the match will be sold from December 5, while the offline tickets will be available at counters on December 19.
