Rs 8 Lakh Looted From Man At Gun-Point In Odisha’s Khurda

Khurda: Three miscreants allegedly looted Rs 8 lakh from an employee of a finance company at gunpoint in broad daylight here on Monday.

According to police, the miscreants came on a motorcycle to Municipality Chhak in Jatani where they intercepted the man, identified as Manoranjan Patnaik. He was returning to office after collecting cash in Jatani and adjacent areas. They pointed a gun at him and looted the cash from him.

“Three persons on a black Pulsar motorcycle put a gun on my head. They snatched my bag containing around Rs 8 lakh and beat me up. I can identify the one who slapped me,” Patnaik said.
