RSS Chief Arrives In Bhubaneswar On 3-Day Visit To Odisha

 

Bhubaneswar: The chief of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Mohan Bhagwat arrived here on Tuesday on a three-day visit to the state.

According to sources, Bhagwat is scheduled to attend the annual meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal (ABKM) on November 25 and 26. Around 35 top functionaries of RSS from Odisha, West Bengal and Andaman and Nicobar will participate in the meeting.

The RSS chief will review the welfare activities undertaken by the Swayamsevaks and livelihood, education and health care of people during the COVID-19 pandemic. He will also take stock of organisational activities like the training of RSS workers.

However, Bhagwat will not attend any public meeting in the State due to COVID-19 restrictions, the  sources said.
