Bhubaneswar: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat is scheduled to embark on a five-day visit to Odisha from Monday.
Sources said Bhagwat is slated to arrive in Rourkela on Monday on his five-day visit to the state during which he will attend a ‘Chintan Baithak’ of the RSS in the steel city. The meeting will be held at Agrasen Bhawan in Rourkela.
Apart from Bhagwat, top national functionaries of the RSS will be present at the meeting. Country heads of different organs of the sangh will also be present during the deliberations.
The meeting will make a thorough review of the different activities undertaken by the RSS during the past year. This apart, the meeting will chalk out plans for the coming year.
There will be no public programme during the RSS chief’s visit and the ‘Chintan Baithak’ will be purely an organisational meeting of the sangh. No press meet for the programme will be held, sources added.
