Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Tuesday revised the price of RT-PCR COVID-19 test at ICMR approved private laboratories in the city to Rs 1,200.
On July 3, the government had capped the rat
e of such tests at Rs 2,200. The private laboratories were earlier charging Rs 4,000 to Rs 4,500.
In a notification, the Health Department identified these four laboratories for individuals desirous to undergo COVID-19 test.
“The tests will be conducted by these private laboratories under the supervision of RMRC, Bhubaneswar, by following ICMR guideline regarding the testing protocol for RT-PCR COVID-19 tests,” it added.
