Rukuna Rath Fails To Reach Mausi Maa Temple On Day Two Too

Bhubaneswar: The Rukuna Rath failed to reach Mausi Maa temple on the second day also. The cart-pulling, which resumed on Sunday, stopped midway.

Sources said that though the devotees tried a lot to pull the chariot till the destination, they failed. The chariot stopped rolling again near Asura Kiari.

The chariot will be pulled out again later on Monday.

On Ashokastami, which fell on Saturday, the chariot was pulled out an hour and a half late. After being pulled for 150m, the chariot was stopped near Badheibanka.
