Bhubaneswar: Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel rescued an eight-year-old boy from a train between Bhadrak and Khurda Road on Sunday.
RPF constables found the boy, Babul Bindhani, sitting helplessly near the washbasin of S4 coach of Howrah-Chennai Mail. Babul said he run away from home out of fear of going to school.
The RPF said the minor was the son of one Ram Bindhani of Nua Sahi village near Jaleswar in Balasore district.
He was handed over to members of SOCH (Society for Children) at Khurda Road station.
