Bhubaneswar: Odia film actor Sabyasachi Mishra, who has been at the forefront of helping COVID victims, has come to the aid of a patient once again. This time it is a COVID-infected pregnant woman of Odisha’s Koraput.
Biswakalyani Samal, in her seventh month of pregnancy, tested positive for COVID-19 and is undergoing treatment at Koraput Hospital. However, her brother Anurag Das sent an SOS to the actor saying she needs advanced treatment. Losing no time, the actor made arrangements for Samal to be shifted to Bhubaneswar.
On learning about Biswakalyani Samal, the Koraput district collector also provided a Life Support Ambulance for her.
On May 27, the actor had helped a two-year-old with severe COVID symptoms get a hospital bed in the city.
