Mumbai: Six days after testing positive for COVID-19, former India captain Sachin Tendulkar was hospitalised as a precautionary measure on Friday.
“Thank you for your wishes and prayers. As a matter of abundant precaution under medical advice, I have been hospitalised. I hope to be back home in a few days. Take care and stay safe everyone,” Tendulkar tweeted.
The 41-year-old had tweeted about contracting the infection on March 27 and was in home isolation ever since. The rest of his family had tested negative for the virus.
