Mumbai: In life, they may follow different religious practices but not in death. In an unprecedented move, the chief of Mumbai’s civic body, the Brihanmumbai Corporation on Monday said that bodies of coronavirus patients can only be cremated, said PTI, quoting an official circular.
Only five persons will be allowed to attend the funeral observing minimum rituals. Touching the body should also be avoided, said the circular.
