Safety Upgrades At Odisha Station: Check Affected Train Schedules From Aug 27


Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) announced on Wednesday that several train services will be cancelled, short-terminated, or short-originated, starting August 27,  to facilitate safety-related modernisation work at Kenduapada station in Khordha Road Division.

The temporary regulations are being implemented to ensure the safe and smooth commissioning of the 3rd line along the busy rail corridor.

Cancelled Services

68438 Kataka–Bhadrak MEMU: Cancelled on August 29 and 30.

68437 Bhadrak–Kataka MEMU: Cancelled on August 29 and 30.

Short-Terminated Services

68424 Cuttack–Bhadrak MEMU: Will terminate at Jajpur Kendujhar Road (JJKR) from August 29 to 30.

18037 Kharagpur–Jajpur Keonjhar Road Express: Will terminate at Bhadrak from August 27 to 29.

18021 Kharagpur–Khurda Road Express: Will terminate at Bhadrak from August 27 to 30.

Short-Originated Services

68423 Bhadrak–Kataka MEMU: Will originate from Jajpur Keonjhar Road (JJKR) instead of Bhadrak from August 29 to 30.

18038 Jajpur Kendujhar Road–Kharagpur Express: Will originate from Bhadrak instead of JJKR from August 28 to 30.

18022 Khordha Road–Kharagpur Express: Will originate from Bhadrak instead of Khordha Road from August 27 to 30.

Railway authorities have urged passengers to check real-time schedule updates via the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) app or the official Indian Railways website before embarking on their journeys.
