Salman Khan Breaks Silence On Death Threats From Bishnoi Gang, Here’s What He Says

Mumbai: Breaking his silence over the death threats received from Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Bollywood actor Salman Khan said he had left everything to God. He made the statement while promoting his upcoming film, Sikandar, at a special press conference on Wednesday night. “Bhagwan, Allah sab unpar hai. Jitni umar likhi hai, utni likhi hai. Bas yahi hai. Kabhi kabhi itne logon ko saath mein leke chalna padta hai, bas wohi problem ho jaati hai. (Bhagwan, Allah everything is upto him. I will live as long as I am destined to live. Just that, sometimes, I have to move with so many people with me. That becomes a problem.)”

The actor had been receiving death threats from the gang linked to the 1998 Blackbuck poaching case. During the shooting of Hum Saath-Saath Hain, Salman and his co-stars Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam were accused of allegedly killing a Blackbuck in the forests near Jodhpur. He has been receiving threats from the gang ever since then as Blackbuck is considered to be a scared animal by the Bishnoi community.

Last year, two men on a motorcycle opened fire at Salman’s Bandra apartment. They were later arrested. Police revealed that this attack was planned by Lawrence’s younger brother Amnol Bishnoi. Later, former Maharashtra Cabinet minister Baba Siddique was assassinated. The Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for his murder, citing his close relationship with Salman.

Salman Khan will next be seen in Sikandar along with Rashmika Mandanna. He will be seen in a badass avatar in the AR Murugadoss action thriller.
