Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, in a statement to Mumbai Police, has denied receiving any threats or any threat calls from anyone in the recent past, the ANI reported.
The statement of Salman and his father Salim Khan was recorded on Monday. This came a day after the security guard of the actor recovered a threat letter near his apartment. This had led to concern since Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead in his village in Punjab’s Mansa district a few days ago and Mumbai Police suspected the possible involvement of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in the death threat to the actor and his father.
Notably, Salman was in Abu Dhabi for IIFS 2022 and returned to Mumbai on Sunday. The security around his residence at Bandra West here was also enhanced.
