Salman Khan-Nayanthara’s Next Titled ‘Monster’, Eyes Eid 2027 Release: Report

Mumbai: Salman Khan and Nayanthara are set to share the screen for the first time in filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally’s upcoming action entertainer, which is reportedly titled ‘Monster.’

Backed by Telugu producer Dil Raju, the much-anticipated project is said to be targeting an Eid 2027 theatrical release, although an official confirmation from the makers is still awaited.

The film is being developed as a pan-India project and is expected to release in multiple languages, including Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.

Meanwhile, filming has reportedly faced a setback after Salman’s body double suffered a heart attack and was forced to take a temporary break from the shoot.

To avoid delays to the schedule, Salman has reportedly stepped in to perform a larger share of the film’s action sequences himself.

“Salman is completely hands-on right now. He doesn’t want the schedule to lose momentum,” a source close to the set was quoted as saying by Filmfare.

Given the film’s elaborate action sequences, the makers are reportedly taking additional safety measures during the shoot.

More stunt performers are also expected to join the production as filming progresses.

The shoot comes at a busy time for Salman, who has several professional commitments lined up.

The actor is expected to return to television in September as the host of Bigg Boss Hindi Season 20.

Salman has been associated with the reality show for several years and is set to resume hosting duties, including the weekend episodes.

On the film front, the actor is awaiting the release of his upcoming war drama ‘Maatrubhumi.’
