Mumbai: This has not been a normal year by any stretch of imagination.
Not even for Salman Khan’s fans, who could not have a ‘darshan’ of the superstar at his Mumbai residence on his birthday, on December 27.
To dissuade thousands of admirers in times of COVID-19 pandemic, the Dabangg star – who turned 55 on Sunday — put up a notice outside his Galaxy Apartment requesting them not to gather there and maintain social distancing. The note also stated that he was not at home.
“The love and affection of my fans over the years has been overwhelming on my birthday, but this year it is my humble request to not crowd outside the house keeping the COVID pandemic and social distancing in mind. Mask pehno! Santise karo! Social distance maintain karo! Iss waqt main galaxy main nahi hun.”
Salman normally shows up at his balcony and waves at thousands of fans who turn up to have a glimpse of their favourite ‘Bhaijan’ .
It was reported that Salman celebrated his birthday on Sunday at his Panvel farmhouse, with close friends and family.
