New Delhi: Shops that deal in sale of items only are allowed to reopen, that too with restrictions, Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) Joint Secretary Puna Salila Srivastava clarified on Saturday.
Barber shops, salons, restaurants and liquor shops will remain closed during the lockdown period, she added.
MHA on Friday night allowed reopening of shops non-essential items with 50 per cent workers. Wearing masks and maintaining social distancing will be strictly enforced.
