Samsung Galaxy A9 With World’s 1st Quad Cameras Launched For Rs 36990

New Delhi: Samsung launched the world’s first quad camera phone in India on Tuesday.

The A9’s biggest highlight is the four vertically stacked rear cameras. It is a combination of 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide lens with f/2.4 aperture, 10MP telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture and 2x optical zoom, 24MP main camera with f/1.7 aperture and 5MP depth camera with f/2.2 aperture & live focus. For selfies, there is a 24MP unit with f/2.0 aperture.

The A9 has a 6.3 inch 18:5:9 FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. It has a 3800 mAh battery with fast charging support. The phone runs Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung Experience 9.0 on top of it.

The phone has been priced at Rs 36,990 for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model. The 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage model costs Rs 39,990.

The back panel is a 3D glass, and is available in black, blue and pink colors.

Pre-booking starts from November 28. The phone will be available on Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung Shop, Paytm Mall, Airtel Online Store as well as offline outlets. There is Rs 3,000 cashback on HDFC cards.
