Sand Art On Odisha’s Puri Beach Celebrating 11 Years Of PM Modi

Puri: Sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for completing 11 years in office. It was on June 8, 2024, that Modi took oath as the Prime Minister of India for the third time.

Pattnaik crafted the 6ft sand sculpture, using five tonnes of sand, with assistance from students of his sand art institution with the message, “11 Years of Modi Era: A Jan Sevak’s Journey to Build Viksit Bharat.”

This artwork was not only a creation in sand but also symbolically represented India’s growth story under the leadership of PM Modi, who heralded the beginning of development oriented politics with the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas. India has seen remarkable growth over the past decade, marked by advanced infrastructure, digital transformation, economic reforms, grassroots empowerment, and strengthened global diplomacy.

“He is respected across the world, and through this sand art, we want to pay tribute to his remarkable work – from Swachh Bharat, Digital India, Make in India, to celebrating International Youth Day. He has consistently worked towards building a Viksit Bharat. Operation Sindoor has shown the world how India stands firm in the fight against terrorism. This tribute reflects our pride in his leadership and vision for the nation,” the Padma awardee told PTI.
