Cuttack: Here’s good news for the movie buffs of Cuttack. The Sangam multiplex is set to reopen on January 8.
As per sources, the rest of the cinema halls in the city will reopen on January 14.
However, government has given permission for opening cinema halls with 50 per cent occupancy only in adherence to the COVID-19 guidelines.
It may be mentioned here that cinema hall owners had said running a movie with 50 per cent occupancy would not be helpful for them in making any profits as they have to bear several expenses besides sanitising the hall.
According to reports, Inox, Grand, Brindaban and Samrat Hall will open this month.
