Bhubaneswar: Adyasha Diyabarshi, a Class X student of Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1 became the national topper in All India Sanskrit Olympiad 2021.
The state topper position was occupied by two students – Rudranarayan Mishra and Akanksha Jena of Class VII.
Prizes were distributed among the winners at Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1 (Second shift).
More than 40 participants of the school have won gold medals in the competition. In 2020, one student from Class VI and one from Class VII of KV No 1 were declared winners and 72 participants of the school got gold medals.
The students, under the guidance of Sabita Hota Mahapatra, are making the school proud by participating in Sanskrit Olympiad for Class IV, V and VI, said school Principal Bhupendra Singh, who felicitated the winners with gold medals, certificates, laptops, tabs, pen drives and books.
