Mumbai: Not all star kids have tasted success in the film industry, but Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan has shown that acting is in her blood.
This year, Sara’s performance in both her movies ‘Sky Force’ and ‘Metro… In Dino’ has been widely appreciated as she was able to connect with the audience on an emotional level.
Reflecting on her successful Bollywood journey, Sara said, “I’m grateful to God for giving me all that I have. The highs, the lows — they’re all a part of life. As long as one has the opportunity to do what they truly love… For me, that’s going out there and entertaining the audiences who have given me so much love, I’ll always remain thankful.”
“I just want to keep trying my best, to return that love in whatever way I can, and to spread as much happiness as possible. And if anything I do makes even a small difference, then that, for me, is the biggest blessing,” she added.
Directed by Anurag Basu, ‘Metro… Dino’ also stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal. The film is now streaming on Netflix.
Sara has played the role of a socially awkward young woman, confused about her personal, social and romantic life.
