Bhubaneswar: A day before polling in Bhatachatra gram panchayat in Bisoi block of Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district, the wife of a Sarpanch candidate on Wednesday lodged a missing complaint with police, alleging that her husband had not returned home since Tuesday night.
Sadananda Tudu is contesting for the sarpanch post in the gram panchayat. In her complaint, Basanti said her husband left home at 8 pm on Tuesday. They went looking for him when he did not return and could not trace him even after a frantic search.
