Bargarh: Election to the post of sarpanch in Gobindapur panchayat of Odisha’s Bargarh district has been postponed after a candidate’s death on Wednesday.
The poll was scheduled to take place on February 24.
Valmiki Pradhan (52) died of cardiac arrest, reports said.
Pradhan was taken to the Bargarh District Headquarters Hospital after he complained of illness, where he was declared dead.
