Bhubaneswar: Odisha Infratech Private Ltd (OIPL) director Nihar Ranjan Bhuyan appeared before the Economic Offence Wing (EOW) of the Crime Branch for interrogation in the alleged land scam at Sarua village in Odisha’s Khurda district.
On November 8, the EOW had issued a notice to Bhuyan to appear before it on November 17 after he ignored the two earlier summons.
Bhuyan is holding additional charge of Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Odisha Television Ltd (OTV), following the resignation of another director Manoranjan Sarangi, who was arrested by the EOW on November 1 in the alleged scam.
The EOW had earlier interrogated another OIPL director, Bibhu Rath, for two consecutive days.
