Bhubaneswar: One more director of Odisha Infratech Private Ltd (OIPL), embroiled in a land grabbing case at Sarua village in Odisha’s Khurda district, has resigned from his post.
Following his interrogation by Economic Offence Wing (EOW) of the Crime Branch on November 17, Nihar Ranjan Bhuyan quit the director post and also the additional charge of Chief Operating Officer (CFO) of the Odisha Television Ltd (OTV).
In a statement, HR head of the OTV Partha Nandi said, “Nihar’s resignation is another example of government pressure tactics. We had apprehensions that Nihar might resign as he was under pressure because his wife is a government employee.”

Another director Manoranjan Sarangi had resigned from the organisation following his arrest on November 1 in the alleged land scam.
