Bhubaneswar: The state government has appointed Saswat Mishra as in-charge chairman-cum-managing (CMD) of Odisha Hydro Power Corporation (OHPC).
The 1996-batch officer was given additional charge of two key departments – Finance and Energy – in the first bureaucratic reshuffle at the senior level on July 10.
This notification from the Energy Department came a day after NBS Rajput, 1999-batch IAS officer, replaced Mishra as principal secretary to Governor Raghubar Das. Mishra was also appointed as Principal Secretary, Finance department. He will continue to serve as Principal Secretary of Energy department, and also as chairman of Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission, the notification from General Administration department had said on July 28.
