Bhubaneswar: The train services between Khurda Road and Kharagpur resumed after the repair of railway tracks near Sobharampur in Odisha’s Balasore district on Sunday night.
Taking note of the traffic disruption due to the collapse of a portion of the over-bridge on Saturday afternoon, the South Eastern Railway has rescheduled several trains on Kharagpur-Bhadrak section.
The revised schedule is as follows:
—Puri- Howrah- Puri Shatabdi Express will remain cancelled both from directions on Monday due to the late running of the link train. The ECoR will instead run a special train between Puri and Howrah for the passengers, who had reserved their seats in Satabdi Express. The special train will leave Puri at 12.30 pm today and arrive at Howrah at 9.45 pm. It will have stoppages at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore and Kharagpur between Puri and Howrah.
—Howrah-MGR Chennai Central scheduled to depart Howrah at 11.45 pm on December 29, left Howrah at 5.30 am
—Howrah-Secunderabad Falaknuma Express will leave Howrah at 1.15 pm today instead of 7.25 am
