Cuttack: Senior lawyer Savitri Ratho was sworn in as a judge of the Orissa High Court on Thursday.
HC Chief Justice Mohammad Rafiq administered the oath of office to Ratho at the conference hall of the court.
With this, the total number of judges in the High Court has gone up to 16.
Daughter of former Director General of Police (DGP) late Prafulla Ratho, Savitri Ratho is the third woman judge of the Orissa HC after Amiya Kumari Padhi and Sanju Panda.
