SBI Employee Dies After Falling From Moving Train At Odisha’s Ambadola



Rayagada: In a tragic incident, an employee of the State Bank of India (SBI) died after reportedly falling from a moving train at Ambodala railway station in Odisha’s Rayagada district on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Dilip Kumar Sabat, who worked at the SBI

branch at Lanjigarh.

According to preliminary information, Sabat was travelling to Ambodala on the Bhubaneswar–Junagarh Express train. The mishap took place when the train reached Ambodala railway station early in the morning.

Sabat was believed to have fallen asleep and when he woke up, the train had already started leaving the station. In a desperate attempt to get down from the moving train, he reportedly lost balance and slipped, sustaining critical injuries.

Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel immediately rescued the man and shifted him to the Ambodala hospital for treatment. Sabat succumbed to his injuries while being shifted to a hospital at Bhawanipatna.
