Cuttack: An employee of State Bank of India (SBI), High Court branch, collapsed during a football match at the 10th edition of Football Association of Odisha (FAO) league at Barabati Stadium here on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Ajay Nayak. He collapsed in the first half of the match between SBI and Sports Authority of India (SAI), the teams of Silver A group. The 47-year-old was immediately rushed to SCB Medical College and Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
