The State Bank of India has released an official notification inviting online applications from eligible candidates for appointment as Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre.
According to the official notification, candidates can apply for vacancies in one state only and candidates can appear for the test only once under this recruitment project. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 03.01.2020 to 26.01.2020.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 01.01.2020.
- The candidates applying for their respective choice of state should be proficient in that state’s language (speaking, reading and writing). Candidates are advised to read the notification for detailed information regarding required qualifications.
Age Limit
Applicant should be bet
ween 20 and 28 years as on 01.01.2020. Upper age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.
Application Fee
- General/ OBC/ EWS – Rs 750/-
- No application fee for SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS candidates.
Selection Process
The selection process will consist of online test (preliminary & main exam) and test of specified opted local language (in case of the candidates who have not passed Class-X in state’s language, that they have opted for).

- Candidates can apply online through the official website of SBI
- Candidates will have to register themselves online through Bank’s website https://bank.sbi/careers OR https://www.sbi.co.in/careers – Recruitment of Junior Associates 2020.
- After registration candidates are required to pay the requisite application fee through online mode by using debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking.
- Candidates can take a printout of the application form after successful submission of the same, for future use.
