New Delhi: The Supreme Court of India sought a reply from the BCCI on cricketer Sreesanth’s plea challenging the life ban imposed on him. The cricketer had approached BCCI to reverse the life ban slapped on him.
A bench comprising Chief Justice Dipak Misra and Justices A M Khanwilkar and D Y Chandrachud has asked BCCI to file their response within four-week time. However, the Apex Court denied interim relief to Sreesanth for allowing him to play.
Sreesanth, had filed an appeal against the Kerala High Court that had restored the life ban on him imposed on him by BCCI.
