Bhubaneswar: One more death due to swine flu was reported from SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack on Friday, taking the toll to 45 in the state this season.
On the other hand, three of 30 swabs sent for examination were found infected with the viral influenza. These cases were reported from AIIMS, Apollo Hospital and KIIMs in the state capital. The patients belong to Khurda (2) and Boudh (1). Among them is a 10-month-old infant boy, health department sources said.
So far, 1166 samples have been tested and 368 found positive for the H1N1 virus, the sources added.
