Keonjhar: Meritorious Class X students of government, aided high schools and Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas (OAVs), who have scored 60 per cent or more, were awarded DMF HSC scholarships in Odisha’s Keonjhar district.
Subroto Bagchi, Chairman, Odisha Skill Development Authority, attended the DMF HSC Scholarship 2022 ceremony as chief guest. Bagchi praised the initiative of the district administration.
This year, 228 students in the district scored more than 90 per cent marks and 1,997 students scored more than 80 per cent in the BSE Class X exam.
Jyoti Prakash Sahoo from Kalyani BP School, Garahabandhogoda, Ghasipura, is the topper from Keonjhar district, scoring 98.17 per cent.
Shardha Juanga from Chandragiri High School, Badapalaspal, has scored 78.67 per cent to top among tribal students.
DMF awarded scholarships to a total of 11,605 Class X students worth Rs 17 crore.
