Angul: A school student was critically injured after being allegedly hacked by a senior over a dispute relating to parking of cycle in Odisha’s Angul in Monday.
As per preliminary information, a Class 9 student of Angul Government High School was allegedly hacked by a Class 10 student over a past dispute over bicycle parking.
The student, who sustained critical injuries, is undergoing treatment at a hospital.
After learning about the incident, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi spoke to the Education Minister Nityananda Gond and Angul MLA Pratap Chandra Pradhan, official sources said.
The Chief Minister has given instruction for providing proper medical treatment to the injured student free of cost.
Following the CM’s instruction, Angul MLA is in constant touch with the injured student’s family and steps are being taken for providing best treatment to him.
