Bhubaneswar: Students of Biju Patnaik Memorial School in Bhubaneswar staged a protest on Tuesday to draw attention towards shortage of teachers and poor facilities.
The students locked the school gate and squatted on the road outside in Prashanti Vihar in the rain. Traffic movement on the road was affected.
The students alleged that there was an acute shortage of teachers and that only three classes are conducted in a week. They also drew attention to acute space shortage because of which they have to share classrooms with primary students.
