School Students Taken On A Heritage Tour In Odisha’s Puri

Puri: School students were taken on a heritage ride in the city to create awareness among children about our rich culture and its history.

Thirty students were taken around Niladri beach, Sunar Gaurang, Bedi Hanuman, Chakranarayana Mandir, Indradumna Puskarini, Dashabatar Math on Chakratirtha Road during the day.

Quiz competitions were held in the vicinity of the Dashbata Math and winners were awarded.

The district administration is taking steps under the supervision of Collector Samarth Verma to create awareness about various heritage sites. Towards this aim, people under different categories have been included in the Heritage Ride, said the organisers.

Founder of Eco Tourism Club Yugabrata Kar; Sertulla, World School Teacher Debabrata Bedmata, Police High School Teacher Tukuna Pradhan; Siddharth Acharya and Natwar Sahu guided the students.
