Bhubaneswar: A school teacher allegedly thrashed a minor boy in the class mercilessly on Thursday. The boy, Rudra Prasad Malla, is a Class-V student of Narayani School at Pandara in Bhubaneswar.
“Rudra’s class teacher Bandana Kar beat him over a fight with his friend. He and his friend had a fight in the classroom, following which, his class teacher started beating him mercilessly,” said Rudra’s father Ranjan Malla, a businessman.
“I am out of station now. My wife informed me about the incident. I will go to school tomorrow. Then I will file a complaint,” he added. Rudra suffered bruises on his back and legs.
