Mumbai: ‘Bigg Boss 20’ contestant ScoutOP has sparked controversy after appearing to admit that his feelings for Love Gill have grown stronger, despite being in a relationship outside the house.
His remarks have also drawn attention because he had previously described his bond with Love as that of a brother and sister.
The latest episode saw ScoutOP and Yung DSA discussing their changing feelings and admitting that their attention towards their respective girlfriends outside the house had been fading.
Rather than speaking openly, the two wrote on the grass to avoid using certain words, while subtitles allowed viewers to follow their conversation.
During their discussion, both ScoutOP and Yung appeared to acknowledge that their feelings for Love had grown stronger.
Yung also revealed that he had never viewed Love as his sister, despite their bond being described that way inside the Bigg Boss 20 house.
When Yung questioned ScoutOP about his feelings, asking, “Tera raasta badal raha hai kya? (Is your path changing?),” ScoutOP replied, “Nahi pata. (I don’t know).”
ScoutOP further said, “Sister se pehle friend hota hai na aadmi (before calling someone a sister, a person is first a friend),” suggesting that he considered Love a friend before their relationship inside the house came to be described as a sibling-like bond.
ScoutOP also admitted that he feels jealous when Gullu, aka Kushal Tanwar, flirts with Love.
At the same time, ScoutOP acknowledged that he is worried about his girlfriend, Kaashvi Saxena, and fears that his feelings for Love may be growing stronger than those he has for Kaashvi.
The episode clip soon surfaced on social media, drawing criticism from viewers over ScoutOP’s apparent feelings for Love while he is in a relationship outside the Bigg Boss 20 house. Several users also questioned his earlier description of their bond as that of a brother and sister.
One user commented, “this is awful, feeling sad for his girlfriend.”
