‘Scripts In Hindi Cinema Very Close To My Character’: Is Sreeleela Hinting About Her Film With Kartik Aaryan?

Mumbai: The first-look video of Anurag Basu’s yet-to-be-titled romantic musical drama, starring Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela, has already floored fans who are eagerly looking forward to the film’s release.

As fans are excited about the fresh pairing, Sreeleela opened up about her on-screen roles and said Hindi film scripts are very close to her real character.

“I feel like the moment we start acting instead of living the character, it’s not authentic anymore. Especially in Hindi cinema, the scripts I’ve heard are a little more real, a little more my age, very close to my character,” the actress told Bombay Times.

“In the past, I’ve played many characters that weren’t completely like me – I tapped into different roles. But these last couple of films feel like me, like a plain me, like how I would really react. I’m excited to bring my authentic self to every screen, no matter what language,” she added.

In the first-look video ‘Tu Meri Zindagi Hai’, unveiled in February, Kartik is seen being cheered by a crowd while he plays guitar and performs on stage.

The actor is seen sporting a brooding lover’s look with a heavy beard and rugged long hair.

The video also features glimpses of Kartik and Sreeleela’s romantic moments.
